About NICA e.V.
NICA e.V. sees itself as a network that disseminates and develops inclusive circus educational methods.
Our work is based on project work, research, development and knowledge transfer.
We strengthen regional, statewide, European and international networks for inclusive circus education and carry out projects with different target groups.
In collaboration with universities, we evaluate inclusive circus educational methods. We bring together different methods and develop them further. With further training, workshops and integration of the methods into the learning environment, we promote the transfer of knowledge.
We operate both regionally and internationally.
Project work
We apply for and implement inclusive circus and movement projects with a wide variety of target groups.
Research
We collaborate with universities and research groups to evaluate inclusive circus education methods.
Development
We bring together inclusive methods from the field of circus and movement education and develop them further.
Knowledge transfer
We offer further training and workshops, integrate the methods into the learning environment of the universities and develop (circus pedagogical) training with a focus on inclusion.
Network
We build and strengthen regional, statewide, European and international networks for inclusive circus education.
Digital infrastructure
We develop and provide a digital infrastructure (forums, databases, websites) to share information and build a (digital) global community.
