Open Circus Space is an open training session for circus and movement arts. We meet on Sundays from 17:30 to 20:30. The dates currently published are shown at the top of this page.
You can arrive at any time during the session and join the colourful group of people practising juggling or acrobatics.
Finding the training hall
Training takes place in the Trendsportring hall at Berliner Straße 243. Enter the lobby through the glass door directly from the street; the large training hall is behind the next glass door. Ring the bell to the right of the outside door so that we can let you in.
Equipment
Training mats for floor acrobatics and juggling are available. There are currently four rigging points for aerial arts with soft-floor mats, as well as two vertical silks and two aerial hoops. The ceiling is slightly more than four metres high. Only a small amount of juggling equipment is available.
Open to everyone
Everyone is welcome; no membership is required. You do not need to be particularly skilled to take part. We want this to be a place where we learn from one another and teach each other. Treating one another—and all our differences—with respect is fundamental to that.
Contribution
To help us pay the hall rental, there is a donation box where you can contribute €0–3 anonymously, according to your own circumstances.
Language and contact
We usually speak German, but most people can switch to English as well.
