Our team

The NICA e.V. team is composed of a group of dedicated and qualified professionals who bring their unique skills and passions to promote and spread the world of circus arts. With a diverse mix of educational, artistic and scientific backgrounds, our team provides comprehensive and interdisciplinary training. Each member brings their individual skills and experience, united by a shared passion for circus arts and commitment to NICA e.V. As founding members and board members, we are passionate about spreading and strengthening circus arts in all its forms.

Charleen Hoffmann

Charleen Hoffmann combines her passion for circus arts with a solid scientific education. She completed her circus trainer training at Villa Jühling in 2022 and has also been a Functional Juggling Facilitator since 2022. Prior to her circus pedagogy career, she completed a Bachelor's degree in Educational Science at Martin Luther University Halle in 2019. She uses her knowledge and skills as a board member and founding member of NICA e.V.

Lilith Dekow

Lilith Dekow brings a mix of cultural, media and circus pedagogical expertise to the team. After training in social circus with Cabuwazi in 2021, she is currently in her 6th semester studying culture+media education at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. In 2022, she also completed training as a Functional Juggling Facilitator. In addition to her educational skills, Lilith is also a talented aerial artist. She is a proud founding member of NICA e.V.

Peter Huhndorf

Peter Huhndorf has a diverse background that includes both circus pedagogy and nutritional science training. He has been a Functional Juggling Facilitator since 2022. In addition, Peter has a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science from Martin Luther University Halle from 2020. As a founding and board member of NICA e.V., he brings his expertise and passion for circus and health to the organization.

Marc Bielert

Marc Bielert is an experienced circus trainer and artist, specialized in juggling. He completed his trainer training according to the BAGZP standard in 2013 at ZZB Halle e.V.. Other qualifications include his certification in Social Circus, which he earned at Cabuwazi in 2016, and his training as a Functional Juggling Facilitator in 2018. Most recently, he completed advanced training at Zirkus Sonnenstich in 2020. In addition to being a long-time, passionate juggler, Marc is also a representative of the QuatProp Collective and Functional Juggling in Germany. As a founding and board member of NICA e.V., he is also committed to promoting the circus arts.
